  3. Welcome to the 32 bit version of "Weekly Speller" for Windows 95.

  5. WHAT'S NEW

  7. Version 1.4
  8.     - A new game has been added for the benefit of registered 
  9.       users - "Join Letters".
  10.     - Registration Code option added to the Register menu, registered
  11.       users may now be sent a Registration code to speed the 
  12.       registration process and avoid re-installation.

  14. Version 1.3
  15.     - Pronunciation Support - ability to record/playback
  16.       spelling lists/words in ".wav" format.
  17.     - Each Activity incorporates the pronunciation support.
  18.     - Word Invisible Option - spell from pronunciation.
  19.     - Spelling List/"View" Option, now called "Review" 
  20.       has pronunciation support.
  21.     - Option to remove List Editor startup note.
  22.     - List Editor detects changed files on exit.
  23.     - List Editor includes the new menu - Wave Audio which has
  24.       these options: Recorder, Play Word, Play List, Delete.

  27.     Sample spelling lists "do not" come with wave audio files.
  28.     Wave audio files for sample spelling lists need to be recorded.

  32.         Adult mode removes children's graphics and replaces 
  33.         children's voices with adult female voice.

  50. PURPOSE:    The intent of Weekly Speller is to provide an easy mechanism 
  51.         to practice weekly spelling lists. Parents or students can
  52.         quickly and easily input a spelling list and then use the 
  53.         list to sharpen their spelling skills.

  60. WON'T START:    Try renaming the executable file "wspell.exe" to "wspell1.exe"
  61.         and then changing the properties of the Weekly Speller icon 
  62.         so the target executable is now "wspell1.exe"
  63.
